Abstract
Socio-emotional, personal development is a process of transfer and further development of social-cultural experience accumulated by mankind. This experience is represented by a unique combination of four closely related components in the structure of personality: cultural skills, specific knowledge, role behavior (behavior in a specific situation, social competence) and social qualities (cooperation and concern for others, competition, initiative, autonomy and independence, social adaptation, openness and social flexibility). The article also talks about the study of the influence of the environment on the socio-emotional and personal development of a preschool child.
