This comprehensive guide explores both systemic and localized scleroderma, emphasizing their distinct challenges and manifestations. Systemic scleroderma, further categorized into limited and diffuse subtypes, impacts internal organs profoundly, necessitating nuanced therapeutic approaches. In contrast, localized scleroderma primarily affects the skin, posing concerns for physical appearance and potential complications. The article delves into the elusive causes, suggesting a multifactorial interplay of genetic predisposition and environmental factors. While anyone can develop scleroderma, risk factors include gender, age (commonly diagnosed between 30 and 50), and family history. Symptoms vary widely, from skin tightening to potential systemic complications like pulmonary hypertension, requiring timely and accurate diagnosis through a combination of medical history, physical examination, and specialized tests. Managing scleroderma demands a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach involving rheumatologists, dermatologists, and other specialists. Although there is no cure, treatment options such as immunosuppressants, anti-inflammatory drugs, and physical therapy aim to alleviate symptoms. Petrushevskaya, renowned for her incisive foray into the realm of literary fairy tales, emerges as a pivotal figure in contemporary literature, redefining the genre through her idiosyncratic narrative strategies and thematic profundity. The article delves into the genetic lineage of Petrushevskaya’s fairy tales, tracing their roots to the folklore fairy tale while highlighting the distinctive genre evolution. This evolution is marked by a meticulous preservation of the archetypal functions of fairy-tale characters and the structural nuances of folklore cumulative fairy tales. Concurrently, Petrushevskaya’s oeuvre exhibits a pronounced transformation of the genre canon, blending the traditional with the avant-garde, thereby charting new territories in literary expression. A pivotal aspect of this transformation is the infusion of postmodern elements into the fairy tale genre, as evidenced in Petrushevskaya’s work. The interplay of realism, postmodernism, and postrealism within her narratives signifies a paradigm shift in the treatment of fairy tales. This shift is particularly discernible in the incorporation of parody, transformation of familiar fairy tale motifs, and the recontextualization of traditional narratives into contemporaneous themes, all hallmarks of Petrushevskaya’s innovative approach.
Khalima Aripova Aripovna Copyright (c) 2023 Thu, 23 Nov 2023 00:00:00 +0000 LEXICAL VARIATION IN THE CONCEPT OF 'FACE' ACROSS CONTEMPORARY LANGUAGE SYSTEMS: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF UZBEK, ENGLISH, AND RUSSIAN LEXICONS
This article embarks on a detailed contrastive analysis of the lexical significances attributed to the concept «face» in contemporary Uzbek, English, and Russian linguistic systems. The study compared the outcomes of using the comparative competition method with the traditional competition method in teaching these skills. The researcher hypothesized that there would be statistically significant differences in the average scores of students between the pre-test and post-test in both research groups, with the post-test showing higher scores. Due to the nature of the research and its applicability, the researcher chose the experimental methodology. The research sample included forty students in the second intermediate grade at the Aden Intermediate School for Boys in the Great Magyar District of the Misan Governorate (2023-2022). The experimental group, the comparison competition method, the control group, and the control group, the traditional method, were all applied to each group to teach certain fundamental football abilities. The main experiment's implementation started on Sunday, October 2, 2023, and finished on Wednesday, December 14, and parity was found between the two research groups for the variables of age, weight, and height, as well as several aspects of physical fitness affecting the teaching of fundamental football skills. The researcher concluded that the two methods (comparative competition and traditional) are effective for teaching the level of performance of football abilities such as rolling and handling, scoring, putting, and hitting the ball with the head in football.
